UK born Karen Elson is one of those people who is perfect at everything she does. Initially gaining fame as a prominent runway model, known for her red hair and ivory skin, then marrying American rock icon Jack White of The White Stripes, Elson wasn't content with these two accomplishments alone. Her next endeavor was entering into the field of bluesy folk-rock and she quickly dismissed people's claims that she was one of those unfortunate supermodel-turned-singers that should have stuck with their original profession (read:Tyra Banks).. Incorporating elements of gothic pop and southern country, while playing the guitar and autoharp, Karen Elson's music proves her to be both a truly talented musician and a pretty face.
