Claire Laffut is a multifaceted Belgian artist known for her work as a singer-songwriter, model, and visual artist. Her artistic journey commenced with a foundation in classical dance, piano, and the visual arts. In 2013, she established LACLAIRE, a company focused on the creation of temporary tattoos, before transitioning into modeling, where she signed with Ford Models and appeared on the cover of Elle Belgium. In 2015, Laffut relocated to Paris, broadening her artistic endeavors. Her music career gained momentum with the release of her debut EP, Mojo, in 2019, followed by her first full-length album, Bleu, in 2021, which features a fusion of Afro and Latin rhythms paired with reflective lyrics. Beyond her musical pursuits, she has also acted in short films and is slated to portray fashion icon Loulou de la Falaise in the forthcoming Disney+ series, Becoming Karl Lagerfeld. Laffut draws inspiration from a diverse range of influences, encompassing both music and visual art, solidifying her position as a dynamic creative presence within the European cultural landscape.
