Fromis_9 is a South Korean girl group that was established through the reality television program Idol School in 2017. Originally consisting of nine members, the group currently has eight following the departure of Jang Gyu-ri in July 2022. They made their debut under Stone Music Entertainment on January 24, 2018, with the EP To. Heart, and subsequently transitioned to Pledis Entertainment, which currently oversees their activities. The name "Fromis_9" reflects their commitment to becoming the premier girl group for their fans. Over the years, they have achieved significant popularity with songs such as "Love Bomb," "Fun!," and "DM." Their studio album Unlock My World, released in 2023, signified a pivotal moment in their artistic development, while their 2024 single "Supersonic" emerged as their most successful track to date. Despite encountering challenges, including members taking time off for health reasons, the group has consistently participated in various festivals and concerts, demonstrating their talent and resilience within the K-pop landscape.
