Ana Bárbara is a Mexican singer/songwriter who initially rose to prominence after she entered the 1988 Miss Mexico beauty pageant. Going on to pursue a music career, Bárbara released her debut album, Te regalo la lluvia, in 2001. Having since kept active releasing LPs and touring, Bárbara has managed to distinguish herself as one of the more adept voices on the modern Mexican music scene.
