As the daughter of celebrated American singer and film actress Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli has had no problem escaping her mother's shadow as evidenced by a startlingly successful career in theater, music, television and film, that has spanned nearly 50 years. Perhaps most famous for her film role in the Academy Award winning film Cabaret (for which she won best actress), Liza has gone on to release several studio and concert albums showcasing her signature vocal talents, in addition to earning multiple Tony Awards for her roles on stage.
