Claudio Capéo is a French singer/songwriter and accordion player who would serve in heavy metal and African jazz bands before arriving at his characteristic sound that blends traditional French folk with modern pop. Though Capéo has been releasing albums since 2010 with his debut LP, El Vagabond, he didn't receive widespread attention in France until 2016 when he appeared as a contestant on the fifth season of the French talent competition The Voice: la plus belle voix.
