Adam Aminé Daniel is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter with Ethiopian and Eritrean heritage. He rose to prominence with his debut single "Caroline," which reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Aminé's musical journey commenced with his 2014 mixtape, Odyssey to Me, followed by his EP, En Vogue. His first studio album, Good for You, released in 2017, established his presence in the music scene. His subsequent works, including Limbo (2020) and TwoPointFive (2021), highlighted his musical evolution. Aminé has collaborated with prominent artists and featured in various media, including film soundtracks. Growing up in Northeast Portland, he pursued a degree in marketing at Portland State University before fully committing to his music career. In addition to his artistic endeavors, he is actively engaged in political advocacy, focusing on immigration rights and humanitarian causes. His discography also features a recent collaborative album, KAYTRAMINÉ, with producer Kaytranada, which was released in 2023.
