A complete throwback to the 1960s, 77:78, perviously known as The Bees and known in the US as A Band of Bees, is a UK six-piece formed on the Isle of Wight. Perhaps striving to be The Beatles' cousin insect, the band records solely on analog and plays psych-influenced pop about love, love, heartbreak and, er, love. While the group certainly cannot be credited with creating something truly original, the band does bear the nostalgia necessary to transport the listener back to another era.
