The Panturas is an Indonesian music ensemble that was established in 2015 by Abyan Nabilio, Surya Fikri, Bagus Patria, and Rizal Taufik. Initially starting as a trio, they later expanded their membership, developing a unique sound that draws inspiration from the legendary surf rock band The Ventures. Their first mini album, titled Mabuk Laut, was released in 2018 and featured the hit single "Sunshine," which played a significant role in solidifying their position within the Indonesian music landscape. In 2021, they released their studio album, Waves of Love, which further highlighted their distinctive fusion of rock and alternative genres. The Panturas has produced several prominent singles, including "Queen of the South," and has collaborated with other artists, such as .Feast on the track "Gelora." Their creative efforts have been acknowledged, as evidenced by their nomination for Best Alternative Duo/Group at the 2021 Indonesian Music Awards, reflecting their increasing impact and contribution to modern Indonesian music.
