Muhammad Tulus, widely recognized simply as Tulus, is a prominent Indonesian singer-songwriter born on August 20, 1987. He gained significant recognition with his debut album, Tulus, released in 2011, which earned him the title of "Rookie of the Year" from Rolling Stone Indonesia. His sophomore album, Gajah, released in 2014, achieved commercial success, reaching the top 10 on iTunes Asia. Tulus' third studio album, Monokrom, came out in 2016 under his independent label, Tulus Company, featuring popular songs such as "Pamit." His fourth album, Manusia, released in 2022, included the hit single "Hati-Hati di Jalan." Renowned for his poignant lyrics and engaging music videos shot around the world, Tulus has received numerous accolades, including 13 Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards. Additionally, he has served as a coach on The Voice Kids Indonesia and collaborated with various artists.
