Coeur de Pirate is the stage name for Béatrice Martin, a pop singer-songwriter from Quebec. She debuted as the keyboardist for a post hardcore band when she was 15 years old, and has since gone solo. Martin gained international recognition when a photographer used a song of her’s for a montage he uploaded to YouTube. Coeur de pirate’s self-titled debut album was released in 2008.
