Desire

Formed by members of Glass Candy and Chromatics, Desire is a trio based out of Montreal and Portland that came together in 2009 to release a debut album, curiously entitled II (Two). With its electro synthpop full of lyrics, fittingly, about desire (both in English and French), the trio creates music that is sweetly dark and morosely cute. Though it is generally regarded as a side project for band members, the group still tours and occasionally releases lovestruck singles.
