Boy & The Echo Choir

Boy, the female half of French duo Tazio & Boy (despite what the gender denotation might lead one to believe), decided to branch off and go solo in 2004 with the goal of further developing her songwriting abilities while still remaining DIY. After releasing two albums on her own, Boy decided to recruit other musicians to form The Echo Choir, a backing band that builds a dark and lovely soundscape for Boy's haunting vocals. The result is a richly layered, dark indie-folk album that has been received well by the French indie music scene.
