Steve Earle is a singer/songwriter from Ft. Monroe, Virginia whose unique style blends together elements of modern country, traditional folk and forward-thinking alternative rock. Though he has distinguished himself as a capable musician, with his Texas-based backing band The Dukes, he explores countrified blues territory with a sardonic wit and keen musicality that is often times void in Earle's solo material.
