Pepe Lienhard, the great Swiss bandleader, is not without his own humble beginnings. Before transforming into a big band/swing sensation in the 1980s - who would go on to perform with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. -Pepe and his band rose to fame in Switzerland performing popular European dance music in the 1970s. Their classic song "Swiss Lady" won Pepe and his orchestra sixth place at the Eurovision Song Contest of 1977. Time has only matured Pepe Lienhard and his orchestra as they continue to wow Swiss audiences with their swinging big band sound.
