Waax is an alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia that was formed in 2013. Winning the Triple J Unearthed Bigsound Competition in 2014, Waax would go on to release its debut EP, Holy Sick, in 2015. Having since kept active with additional releases and a regular touring schedule, Waax has built a solid reputation as one of the more capable acts on the modern Australian music scene.
