Shooks is an Austin-based rock band led by singer Marlon Sexton. The indie band's sound is a mix of post-punk, psychedelic, pop and noise. The band's vast range is what gives it an edge and is exactly what has shone a spotlight on it. Shooks has played at esteemed venues in Austin as well as beyond. The band's debut EP Pet came out in 2021 and was well received.
