Anthony Callea is a pop artist from Melbourne who uses the versatility of his tantalizing voice to its utmost potential. Although Callea first grabbed attention for his performances on Australian Idol, it was his 2004 cover of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's song "The Prayer" which made him a sensation. The track was a commercial triumph, it held the top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for five weeks and marked the beginning of Callea’s successful music career. In 2008, he was one of the artists performed alongside Sydney Symphony at the prestigious Sydney Opera House. Along with being a pop star and known face on Australian television, he has also performed in musicals such as Dead Man Walking, Rent, Wicked and Grease.
