Deborah Conway

Born and raised in Melbourne, Deborah Conway has been at the forefront of Australian rock music for more than three decades. Following the end of her band Do Re Mi in 1988, she began a solo music career, achieving platinum sales and an ARIA award for her first solo album. With a compelling voice and exquisite lyrics centered around love, loss and everything in between, Conway emerged as a perfect role-model for upcoming female rock artists. Apart from writing and recording songs, her contribution as a producer of Broad of all singer/songwriters, artistic director of the Queensland Music Festival and festival director of the Shir Madness Jewish Music Festival has proved to be of immense significance to the industry.
