Born as Emmanuel Herrera, El Alfa is a dembow artist, from the Dominican Republic. Dembow is a genre which originated in Jamaica and is an amalgamation of dancehall, ragga and hip hop. El Alfa has collaborated and sung alongside the likes Bad Bunny and Nicky Jam. He also collaborated with Cardi B for his hit single "Mi Mami."
