Initiated into the world of music at a young age by his father and grandfather, Hins Cheung is a cantopop star that strives to transcend the time-bound fads that define the pop music scene with a grounding in the classical arts. The singer-songwriter's first breakthrough came in the early 2000s when "Hins’ First" caught the attention of listeners when it aired on the radio. The extended play was recorded afterhours at a studio where Hins worked at that time, demonstrating his remarkable vocal range. His debut album, My Way, was released in 2002, soon followed by A.M./P.M. in 2004. In the years that followed, Hins Cheung garnered much acclaim as not only a pop musician, but also a film and stage actor. He is best known for his role in the plays I Have a Date with Autumn (2012) and Equus (2014).
