Originally formed as Easy Life, the band re-christened itself After Touch in 2018. The five members of this post-hardcore ensemble first started performing in Shellharbour, Australia. A typical After Touch song often carries a somber aura around itself, created by pairing heart-tugging lyrics with clever use of string instruments and electronic sounds. It debuted with You Wish This Was About You in 2018. The songs from this EP are about picking oneself up and restarting life after getting out of a relationship. The lyrics come straight from the band members' personal experience, are mature and relatable, which does justice to this sensitive topic.
