Kevin Smith, who performs and releases music under the musical moniker Kojaque is a rapper from Dublin, Ireland who likes to examine people facing daily struggles with the mundane in his lyrics. Smith's 2018 debut album, Deli Daydreams, is a concept album that follows a week in the life of a deli worker and touches on quintessentially Irish themes of labor and class. The forward-thinking LP helped push Smith to the forefront of the Irish hip-hop scene and establish him as one of the more original voices making culturally aware hip-hop.
