Leones del Caracas is one of the mightiest teams in the world of Venezuelan baseball. It is based in Caracas and was formed in 1942. Throughout the team’s history, it has delivered countless top-notch performances, earned a huge and loyal fanbase and added many honors to its name. It won its first League championship in 1948 and by 2010, the team had raised that number to 20. It also holds multiple Caribbean World Series titles. Leones del Caracas plays its home games at the Estadio Universitario and competes in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.
