The Comet is Coming is a London-based band that tactitly impressive style of music by blending elements of jazz, electronica and psychedelic rock. Founded in 2013, the group spent its formative years gigging around London, honing its chops and refining its songwriting approach, before releasing its debut album, Channel the Spirits, in 2016. With a subtly mechanistic sound, the LP was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. Having since gone on to release additional material and maintain a regular touring regime, The Comet is Coming has proven itself as more than just a musical anomaly.
