Katie Pruitt is a folk singer based in Nashville. She translates defining moments from her own life into lyrics that are relatable to others. Her songs are backed by simple-yet-elegant guitar sounds and also carry the potential to nudge listeners into asking themselves some hard-hitting questions. In 2018, she debuted with the EP OurVinyl Live. It showcases her style of writing, which made critics reminisce the legends of country music. Also in this EP, is the track “Ordinary”, for which she won the prestigious Buddy Holly Prize.
