The Legends are based out of Frisco, Texas and since they play close to Dallas, naturally their affiliation to the NBA is with the Mavericks. The club originally started as the Colorado 14ers and an affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, but the team folded in 2009 and moved to Frisco. The club has only one D-League title (as the 14ers) and the players take the court at the Dr. Pepper Arena which holds about 3,500 fans for basketball.
