Swindon Town F.C. is an English football club that features in the EFL League Two. It was founded in 1879 and has played its home games at the County Ground, Swindon since 1896. Also known affectionately as “The Robins”, it has won honors such as the League Cup, Football League Third Division, Anglo-Italian Cup, Anglo-Italian League Cup and the Wiltshire County FA Senior Cup. Herbert Chapman and Mike Summerbee are the notable former players who have been inducted in the English Football Hall of Fame.
