Chromeo

Chromeo is a Montreal-based electrofunk duo that uses keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines and guitar to create a signature disco-influenced electropop sound that has helped rise the group to prominence. The duo--comprised of David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel--were childhood friends before they decided to start a band and, though it was somewhat of an underground sensation for a period of time, the group managed to achieve a break into the mainstream with its 2007 LP, Fancy Footwork.
