About
After a few musicians from the Dominican Republic joined forces in New York City, they formed a bachata group called Aventura in 1994. Though the bachata genre is popular in the Dominican Republic, the members of Aventura were determined to bring its popularity State Side by infusing their music with hip hop, R&B and reggae sounds in addition to alternating between English and Spanish vocals.
