About
Denizlispor is a sports club based in the city of Denizli, Turkey and was formed in 1966. The club’s football team is one of its most popular branches. The team made its debut at the Turkish Second Football League. In 1983, it became one of the competitors in the Süper Lig and managed to hold this position for five seasons. Competing in the Süper Lig is an achievement in itself and this team managed to have multiple runs in the top league. It embarked on its fourth run in 2019. The team, which is also known as “Horozlar” amongst its fans, plays its home games at the Denizli Atatürk Stadium.
