About
Altay S.K. is a football club which is based in İzmir, a city in Turkey and it plays its home games at the Bornova Stadium. The club was formed in 1914 and a few years later the club made its first achievement. It won the İzmir Football League title in 1924 and by 1958, it had added 13 more to its credit. The list continues further to include its TFF First League title and multiple Turkish Cups as well. Its performances in major national competitions such as the Süper Lig and the Turkish Football Championship have also been commendable. It is currently one of the clubs that compete in the TFF First League.
