The pride of the city of Sivas, Sivasspor faces off against some of the biggest clubs of the Turkish Super Lig. Founded in 1967 the team has enjoyed fairly successful spells throughout its history, however, it is yet to win a major trophy. Its best reign in the Super Lig was in the 2008-09 season when it finished in second place.
