The Scientists is an alternative rock band from Perth, Australia that was formed in 1978. Led by chief singer/songwriter Kim Salmon the group blends together elements of punk, blues and noise rock to create a unique sonic amalgam. Though the group broke up in 1987, it reunited in 2007 and continues to tour.
