Indian writer and stand-up comedian Zakir Khan was born and raised in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His win at Comedy Central's India's Best Stand Up Comedian competition in 2012, where he was crowned 'India's Best Stand Up,' catapulted him into the limelight and made him a household name. Apart from doing stand-up, he has made a name for as a writer and actor through his work on radio shows and projects such as AIB's On Air with AIB and Amazon Prime Video's Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare. Khan grew up in a musically-inclined family and holds a diploma in the Sitar.
