About
UE Lleida couldn’t stay afloat due to financial difficulties and was finally dissolved in 2011. The club was auctioned off and was bought by Lleida entrepreneur Sisco Pujol who named the team Lleida Esportiu. The team started off in the Segunda División B. The club came very close to being promoted in the 2016 season. Lleida Esportiu plays its home matches at the Camp d'Esports.
