Racing de Ferrol

Racing de Ferrol was founded in 1919 and began very strong as a team. It quickly climbed the ladders of national football and was a well known name within a decade of its formation. In 2007 the team gained a promotion to the second level only to be demoted the following year due to its poor performance that season. The club played and placed first in the Tercera División in 2019 and hence was promoted to the Segunda División B for the next season. The team plays its home matches at the A Malat stadium in Ferrol.
