Bandalos Chinos is an indie pop band from Argentina, established in 2009 in Béccar, Buenos Aires. The ensemble features Gregorio Degano on vocals, Salvador Colombo on synthesizers, Tomás Verduga on guitar, Matías Verduga on drums, Iñaki Colombo on guitars, and Nicolás Rodríguez del Pozo on bass. Their inaugural album was launched in 2012, followed by a series of well-received projects, including BACH (2018), which garnered them two Gardel Awards and a nomination for a Latin Grammy. The band recorded BACH and its subsequent album, Paranoia Pop (2020), at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas, under the guidance of producer Adán Jodorowsky. Their 2022 release, El Big Blue, further solidified their status within the indie music landscape. Renowned for their fusion of pop, synth, and rock elements, they draw inspiration from artists such as Luis Alberto Spinetta and Tame Impala. Bandalos Chinos has cultivated a dedicated fan base through their dynamic performances and distinctive sound, establishing themselves as one of Argentina's most prominent contemporary bands.
