Union Deportiva Melilla is a Spanish football club that competes in the Segunda División B – Group 1. The club is based in the city of Melilla and was formed in 1943. Just a year later, it entered the Tercera División and held its ground here for many years before leaving the game. But after a span of few years, the club re-entered the world of football in 1976. It plays its home matches at the Estadio Municipal Álvarez Claro.
