Sadek Bourguiba, better known as Sadek, is a French rapper born on May 25, 1991, in Neuilly-Plaisance. He embarked on his musical career in 2007, specializing in battle and freestyle rap, and gained recognition at the streetball event "Le Quai 54." His remarkable talent drew the interest of Mokobé and Hammadoun Sidibé, leading to his engagement in various music projects and compilations. Sadek later signed with Hostile Records, where he released a series of mixtapes and albums that garnered considerable success in France. His 2016 work, Nique le Casino, was released following the Roulette-Russe freestyle tracks. In the same year, he shared the screen with Gérard Depardieu in the film Tour de France. However, his career faced challenges in 2020 when he was implicated in the assault of French YouTuber Bassem Braïki. Despite this setback, Sadek remains active in the music industry, with his 2023 album Changement de propriétaire being released without any collaborations. His discography highlights his significant influence on the French rap genre.
