Real Jaén Club de Fútbol, S.A.D. is a football club that is one of the competitors in the Tercera División – Group 9. It is based in the Spanish city of Jaén and was formed in 1922. It debuted in the Tercera Division 1943, despite its very late arrival the club was on track to progress. It paved its way into the Segunda Division in 1942 and in 1953, it was playing amongst the country’s best clubs in La Liga. However, it was relegated after the same season. But the club continued to perform well and soon won the Segunda División and the Copa Federación. Real Jaén plays its home games at the Nuevo Estadio de La Victoria.
