The Allman Betts Band is a rock band that's comprised of Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, respectively, the erstwhile leaders of The Allman Brothers. Founded in 2018, the group plays a distinctive type of music that blends a Southern rock musical sensibility with jazz instrumental proficiency and chugging rhythms to create a groove-friendly style of music. Though the Allman Betts Band plays its own original material it also does cover some of The Allman Brothers well knowns songs like "Blue Sky," "Jessica" and "Ramblin' Man."
