Racing Santander

One of the founding members of the La Liga, Racing de Santander boasts a history that is deep rooted within the Spanish league system. Established in 1913, spent the first decade playing in local, independent tournaments, before it went on to form the Spanish First Division, along with nine other clubs. While the club has spent most of its time in the top flight, rocky spells in form led to several relegations, including a drop to the Segunda Division B in 2015. After toiling in the third tier of Spanish football for four seasons, Racing de Santander made it back to the Segunda Division in 2020.
