This popular team based out of Valencia one of the youngest teams in La Liga, having entered in 1964, more than five decades after its establishment as a club in 1909. It stayed for only a few years, then was relegated back into the lower divisions for the next two decades until returning again in 2006, only to bounce back-and-forth once again. The Granotes or ‘Frogs’ as they are affectionately known, play in the Estadi Ciutat de València and their main rival is perennial powerhouse neighbor, FC Valencia.
