Jeju United, initially named Yugong in 1982, moved their home from Bucheon to Jeju in 2006. Despite the fact that Bucheon football fans intensely resisted the relocation of team's home ground, the football club changed the team's basement and was branded as a traitor who betrayed their valuable fans, just like FC Seoul did in 2004. Football fans in Korea commonly taunt Jeju United as Nampae which means the depravity of South(Jeju is the most southern part in Korea.) Jeju United lifted a total of one champion trophy in K-League and three trophies of a league cup. Many star players such as Eulyong Lee, Jacheol Ku, Eunjung Kim and Imsaeng Lee had played for the team.
