Australian singer-songwriter Karen Knowles has enjoyed a long career in the entertainment industry, going back to her first hit single, "Why Won't You Explain" released in 1981. Since then she has released several albums and even joined the celebrated pop group, The Seekers in the 90. Frequently appearing on television as an actress and a presenter, Knowles continues to record music and has even opened a singing school with various branches in Australia.
