Aviron Bayonnais also referred to as Bayonne, is a rugby union club that is a competitor in the Top 14 which is France’s premier tournament for rugby union clubs. It was formed in 1904 and plays its home fixtures at the Stade Jean Dauger. The club has won plenty of titles and its impressive trophy haul includes the French Championship, Challenge Yves du Manoir, Coupe de l'Espérance, Euro Basque Rugby Challenge and the Pro D2. Noteworthy players to have represented this club include Cédric Heymans, Joe Rokocoko and Mike Phillips.
