Jeonnam Dragons

Chunnam Dragons was born as 7th professional football club competing in K-League in 1994. Because there was not a football team based in Jeonra province at which point the parent company, POSCO, established Chunnam Dragons, the inhabitants of the province welcomed the club and gave fervent supports. However, the football club always remained in the middle ranks of the league and could not lift many trophies at other tournament cups apart from 3 of FA cup. Chunnam Dragons produced many star players such as Sangrae Noh, Dokeun Kim and Taeyeong Kim. Particularly, the clubs launched Dongwon Ji and Seokyeong Yun to Sunderland FC and Queens Park Rangers FC.
