About
Sasami is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter who makes a perspicacious style of indie rock. Having played keyboards for the garage rock band Cherry Glazerr for nearly two and a half years, Sasami eventually struck out on her own in 2018 to launch a solo career. Releasing her debut song, "Callous," Pitchfork would go on to bestow its coveted "Best New Track" title on the tune, which eventually led to Sasami being signed by the prestigious indie label Domino.
