About
The Blue Bulls is a rugby union team that represents Pretoria and the province of Limpopo in the Currie Cup. Founded in 1938, it is managed by the Northern Transvaal Rugby Union and shares an intense rivalry with the Western Province rugby team. Its long list of achievements most notably include 23 Currie Cup titles, three Lion Cup and Vodacom Cup titles and a Bankfin Cup. It plays its home fixtures at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and its roster has featured reputed Springboks such as Frik du Preez, Naas Botha and Hannes Brewis.
